KARINA LEDDIN
DESIGNER & MAKER
Karina Leddin is the designer and maker of all Mångata jewellery pieces. She first started making jewellery in 2010 while living in Peru. She met a local artisan who taught her macramé and for the next few years she obsessively made jewellery while she continued her travels. She developed her own style and eventually found herself in Thailand undertaking a short silversmithing course.

In 2015 she returned to Australia where she completed an Advanced Diploma of Jewellery & Object Design at Melbourne Polytechnic. In her graduation year she was awarded the AJS award.
In 2017 Karina along with three other Melbourne jewellers took part in Radiant Pavilion, a Contemporary Jewellery and Object Biennial that brings together over 200 leading and emerging Australian and international artists across Melbourne presented by Craft.

She is an accredited member of Craft.
